AUDIENCE PROFILE:

Gender: Male or Female

ABC: C2/B/D
Occupation: College, Working etc.
Likes: Technology (Social Media etc.), Sports, Action and Crime films, Parties
Dislikes: Romance films, Fashion

This is my ideal target audience as there are likes and dislikes which match the criteria of my film and will most likely find my film entertaining and exciting.

Audience Feedback - Extract

Audience feedback – Extract/ opening sequence (Draft 2)

Main advantages given by peers and Miss Gatty:

Good variety of camera angles throughout extract
Good use of editing overall, not too many cuts which allows flow
Need to include a suitable score/soundtrack for the extract
A suitable length for this extract to sustain the audience’s attention
Close ups were used correctly to emphasises important facial expressions

Main disadvantages given by peers and Miss Gatty

The close up of the mi6 logo at the end of the extract was blurry and hard to see
The characters within the extract were described as ‘unrealistic’ because they were too young for the working environment
At times in the extract the camera was unstable
The text in the extract was described as unprofessional

What improvements have we done from our feedback?

The mi6 logo was removed from the extract, we felt as if it was the best thing to do as it was visually unpleasing. As we were unable to attempt the scene we had to use and elongate other scenes to fill in the missing gap.

Unfortunately we were unable to change our actors as no one else was available, therefore the production is forced to challenge the stereotypical agent/receptionist however, and this may be an advantage as the actor is a similar age as the audience. This will give the audience someone to relate to in a sense; also they could make a relationship with the character.

We are unable to film again due to the production deadline therefore we have to ignore the unstableness of the camera.

The typography has been dramatically improved by Marcel Deane, Miss Gatty has also stated it looks considerably better, the text font and position has changed improving the visuals of the extract.
